I leave postcards places in order to incite conversations. I think it’s important to talk with each other about some of the underlying struggles that are often disregarded. Although awkward, consider what it would be like to talk to someone about what it means to be overrun with apologies and no solution or what it means to feel cut off from comfortable living all because you exist. Maybe conversations can acknowledge the harm caused by our western, individualistic ways of living and thinking, harm done to others and to ourselves, mundane and overt harm. If you’ve come across this postcard, examine it. Think about it. What do the elements in the image point to? What are they trying to say? Can you relate? Let's talk about it.
